The platform forms part of the Digital Twin Project, which promotes secure data sharing across the maritime industry. Images of legal marketplace ClassNK developed the marketplace as a neutral platform to support collaboration and innovation. The system operates as a closed membership platform with rules governing the use and management of design data. Members can register models and services while maintaining control over their data. ClassNK expects the platform to improve data sharing, support new business opportunities and create value throughout the vessel lifecycle.
