According to Reuters, Qatar said three cruise missiles were launched from Iran; two were intercepted, while the third hit the Aqua 1 fuel oil tanker, causing damage above the waterline but no casualties or environmental impact. The vessel was located about 17 nautical miles (31 km) north of Ras Laffan Industrial City, a major hub for Qatar’s gas industry.
