Israel’s Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure has allowed the restart of a second natural gas offshore field following the ⁠US ceasefire with Iran. The Ministry told UK-based energy company Energean on Thursday to restart the Karish field. This means the restart of production and operations of the Energean Power FPSO. The FPSO ​has been closed since February 28, ​when the US-Israeli war with Iran began, due to safety concerns. Energean stated that it was working to safely restart production and resume normal operations in line with its operating procedures.
