Speaking on Fox Business, Greer stated that China understands the US will maintain some level of tariffs. He noted that discussions with China have included the topic of excess capacity. Greer indicated that tariffs will increase to 15% for some products, and suggested that certain tariffs could rise higher than 15%. The trade representative reiterated that sections 122, 301, and 232 serve as alternatives to tariffs.
