FacebookTwitterEmailLinkedin NYK Bulkship (Asia) Pte. Ltd., Golden Island Pte. Ltd., and Yara Clean Ammonia Norge AS have signed a non-binding term sheet to explore a partnership aimed at developing and marketing low-carbon ammonia as a marine fuel in Singapore. As explained by the company in a statement released on 20 April, the initiative is designed to support the shipping industry’s shift toward zero- or near-zero-emission (ZNZ) fuels and aligns with Singapore’s broader decarbonization ambitions for maritime operations. The partners began discussions in early 2024, with the goal of launching operations within this decade.
