The city-state's total demand for conventional and biofuels in August reached 4.71 million mt , up 0.7% from the previous month of July , but 3.8% lower than August 2025 volumes, according to preliminary data released by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore ( MPA ) today. August sales were the highest since March 2026 , when bunker demand surged following the start of the Iran war, and came in just short of that month's 4.72 million mt . Across all products, including LNG and methanol, S
