Kuehne+Nagel reported higher revenue and earnings in the second quarter of 2026, driven by strong performance in its air logistics business, efficiency improvements and market share gains. The company also raised its full-year earnings outlook. Group net turnover increased 8% year-on-year to CHF 6.6 billion, while EBIT rose 11% to CHF 381 million. Earnings reached CHF 276 million, up 10% from the same period last year. Following the first-half results, Kuehne+Nagel increased its 2026 recurring EBIT guidance to CHF 1.35–1.55 billion. Sea Logistics improves profitability The Sea Logistics division generated CHF 2.2 billion in net turnover and CHF 140 million in EBIT during the second quarter. The business handled 2.1 million TEUs in the first half of 2026. Kuehne+Nagel said efficiency gains and market share growth on Asia–Europe and Asia–North America trades supported performance. Weak European export demand continued to weigh on volumes, but cost reductions helped offset the impact. Air Logistics delivers strongest growth Air Logistics recorded the strongest performance across the Group. Net turnover increased 20% to CHF 2.2 billion, while EBIT jumped 35% to CHF 154 million. Air freight volumes reached 1.1 million tonnes during the first half of the year. The company attributed the growth to market share gains, an improved customer mix and strong demand from the technology sector. It also highlighted its role in transporting cloud infrastructure equipment for Google from Asia to the United States. Road and Contract Logistics expand Road Logistics increased net turnover by 14% to CHF 1.0 billion. EBIT rose 29% to CHF 36 million. The division gained market share across all regions, supported by higher demand for customs brokerage services. Contract Logistics reported net turnover of CHF 1.2 billion, up 2%, while EBIT increased 21% to CHF 51 million.
