Jon joined the Club’s Singapore Branch in April 2023. He has brought a great depth of insurance knowledge to the Club and is well known and respected in the market, both in Singapore and beyond. This knowledge and network, coupled with the strong team in the Singapore Branch will ensure the Club’s ongoing success in Singapore and the wider Asian and Australasian market. It was on 10 August 1978 that Steve Randall started work with the Shipowners’ Club.  It will be on 10 August 2026 that Steve hands over the reins, as CEO of the Club’s Singapore Branch, to Jon (subject to regulatory approval).  In the 48 years that Steve will have worked with the Club, he has performed many and varied roles. He started work in the Club’s post room and, among other roles, progressed to Commercial Director and, latterly, CEO of the Club’s Singapore Branch. Steve was instrumental in the establishment of the Club’s office in Singapore in 2009. Simon Peacock, CEO of the Shipowners’ Club, commented: “ I know that Jon will be a very worthy successor as our Singapore Branch CEO. Jon joined the Club in April 2023 having spent 12 years in the wider insurance market, predominantly in Singapore. As from today’s date Jon will take on the role of Commercial Director – Singapore Branch , pending him taking on the Singapore Branch CEO role in August 2026. His expertise will be supplemented by his fantastic colleagues who will collectively ensure that our ser
