UKRAINE - Update on ballast segregation Publications Steamship Mutual Published: May 01, 2019 Contact author Download article pdf     Image In recent years, inspections by State Ecologists in the Ukraine have created a climate of uncertainty and difficulty for many shipowners. Club correspondents CIS Pandi of Odessa have updated us with news that inspections of vessel’s segregated ballast tanks will be cancelled and inspections of segregated ballast by state ecologists will be prohibited. These new regulations will come into force after the official publishing in Ukrainian Government bulletins and we will report again when this date is known.
