Bureau Veritas is targeting €1 billion in revenue from AI-driven markets and services by 2030 as it moves into the next phase of its LEAP | 28 strategy. The testing, inspection and certification group also upgraded its revenue growth expectations for 2027 and 2028. Bureau Veritas now expects total revenue to grow at a double-digit compound annual growth rate during the two-year period, at constant currency. Its previous target was high-single-digit growth. AI becomes key growth area Bureau Veritas plans to expand the use of artificial intelligence across its operations under a single governing framework. The company sees AI both as a tool for its existing operations and as a source of new business. Its target is to generate €1 billion in revenue from AI-driven markets and services by 2030. “AI is a transformative technology that creates multiple opportunities for Bureau Veritas,” said CEO Hinda Gharbi. “We will continue to integrate it broadly into our strategic programs.” Bureau Veritas confirms 2028 ambitions The company confirmed its wider LEAP | 28 ambitions during its 2026 Capital Markets Day. Since launching the strategy in 2024, Bureau Veritas has rotated around 21% of its portfolio. This includes €1.2 billion of revenue acquired, sold or planned for exit through 24 acquisitions, four divestments and one exit. The group has also reorganised its operations into four divisions and ten Product Lines. Bureau Veritas said it achieved organic revenue growth of around 7% to 8% between 2023 and 2026, based partly on its 2026 guidance. The company plans to accelerate acquisitions during 2027 and 2028.
