Multiple brokers are reporting China’s Kawa Shipping has ordered its first newbuilds, signing for three 4,800 teu ships at Wuhu Shipyard. Alphaliner has put a price tag of $60m per ship with the dual-fuel LNG vessels due for delivery in 2027.
