Image Credit: Siltrax Hydrogen technology company Siltrax is bringing its silicon-based PEM fuel cell and electrolyzer technology to the Americas as it looks to expand commercial opportunities in the region. The company announced yesterday its commercialisation initiative in the Americas along with the appointment of Roberto Iriti as commercial director for the Americas, it said in an emailed update on Thursday . Iriti will lead the company’s commercial strategy, business development and partnerships across the US , Canada and Latin America . Siltrax is developing a network of demonstration units across the region to showcase its technology and generate operational data for potential customers. Its silicon bipolar plate technology is designed to enable lighter and more compact fuel cell stacks while improving efficiency and power density. The technology is being targeted at applications including maritime and heavy transport, aviation, distributed power, data centres and EV charging.
