In August 2020 the Australian maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) published a further article “Fire prevention and protection” which can be read  here .   The Australian Maritime Safety Authority has produced a bulletin focusing on fire prevention on vessels. It looks at various aspects including maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems; maintenance of fire protection systems; the importance of safety culture. The bulletin can be accessed here .
