Myanmar-The Port Situation On 1 February 2021, military armies of Myanmar declared the state of emergency and seized the governmental power. We have received the information below from our local correspondent, Spica Services (S) Pte Ltd.   After the declaration, telephone or e-mail are still available, but they are intermittent and liable to further interruption.   It is also reported that the Ports and related services are operating normally. Airports were closed on 1 February, but reopened on 2 February and Myanmar National Airways resumes all scheduled flights on 3 February.   Please note that the change of local situation is so unforeseeable, that the above is to be updated accordingly. It is highly recommended for members to check the latest information at the time of vessel’s calling through local agents in Myanmar.
