Sweden-based crew transfer vessel (CTV) owner and operator Northern Offshore Services (N-O-S) is expanding its fleet with a series of newbuilds scheduled for delivery in the second half of 2025. The order covers four vessels of the so-called E-class at Singapore’s Penguin Shipyard which recently also bagged an order for a pair of newbuilds from UK CTV player Tidal Transit. N-O-S said the lates project continues the company’s newbuild journey and reaffirms its “dedication to providing flexible solutions”. The new vessels with 32 seats will have an updated and improved hull design, and be prepared to use both alternative fuels and fully electric modes. “This order confirms our commitment to offering our customers the best possible solutions while having future demands in mind,” said David Kristensson, Group CEO of Northern Offshore Group, which lists a fleet of around 60 CTV and multipurpose units on its website. googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1_95_0_1_2'); }); TagsSweden
