Social media has taken hold in all aspects of our lives. Many currently working in maritime may have been originally attracted to the role by posts from mariners showcasing their lives at sea and maybe, in turn, are themselves uploading images and recordings of their lives. This webinar, organised by our Younger Members Council and moderated by James Edwards, aims to look at the use of social media and whether our expert panellists think it supports or distracts mariners when onboard.
