The data collated falls into four workable categories: a) Carbon, fuel and energy (including energy consumption, intensity, shore power use and renewable fuels), b) Waste and waste discharge, c) Water and wastewater management, and d) Operational context, such as passengers carried, nautical miles travelled and port calls. These KPIs can be viewed over multiple time horizons – from daily performance to quarterly and annual trends – and exported for regulatory, ESG, and internal reporting purposes.
