The company is looking for candidates with experience in the maritime and/or transport sector, while experience in quality inspections is a must, it said in a LinkedIn job advertisement yesterday. The advertisement lists the following requirements for the role: Experience in the position of bunker surveyor is a clear advantage. A Bunker Surveyor with license issued by MPA is a clear advantage. A Marine or Nautical degree will be essential. Examples are Maritime and Offshore Management, Maritime Transportation Management. Or a Certificate of Competency (COC). Fresh graduates are welcome. Recent experience within the maritime and/or transport sector and experience with quality inspections is a must Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Good command of the English language in word and writing Strong in interpersonal and communication skills Due to the nature of the job, we expect you to be prepared to work irregular hours.
