By highlighting mentorship, the Club’s awards underscore the critical role that positive reinforcement and training aboard vessels play in shaping future maritime leaders. Through these awards, it is committed to recognizing mariners who exemplify professional excellence through their dedication to mentorship. Similarly, the Club also acknowledges the efforts made by mariners - both individually and in groups - to perform acts above and beyond the normal call of duty to ensure safety and protect the marine environment. This new initiative is open to all mariners aboard - and shoreside managers for - vessels entered with the Club. We encourage both mariners and shoreside managers to submit nominations via our online portal. Each submission will be carefully reviewed, and a citation along with a certificate will be awarded to the nominated individual through the insured Member office for distribution.
