Greek owner Fafalios Shipping has added a 14-year-old kamsarmax, forking out some $20m for the Tsuneishi Zhoushan-built 82,200 dwt sized bulker Oasea. The Oasea was added from Stamatis Tsantanis’s Nasdaq-listed United Maritime Corporation, a spinoff of Seanergy Maritime. The Fafalios family has been quiet for years until February. Since then, staff have had their hands full, offloading two ships while adding its second most modern ship today, replacing one supramax named Nueva Fortuna and one panamax named Amazon, ships aged 21 and 22 respectively. Dimitrios Fafalios serves as president of the company. He has also been the chairman of Intercargo for the past five years. googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1_95_0_1_2'); }); TagsGreece
