According to ReCAAP ISC, the incident occurred onboard a bulk carrier while underway in the Straits of Malacca & Singapore on 13 Jun 2026. Four perpetrators were sighted in the engine room. One of the perpetrators carried a gun-like object and the other three were unarmed.
