Scorpio Tankers is continuing to cash in on firm secondhand prices, lining up the sale of two more MR product tankers as part of an ongoing fleet reshuffle. The New York-listed owner has agreed to sell the 2015-built, scrubber-fitted STI Brooklyn and STI Black Hawk for $35m each, with delivery expected in the second quarter of 2026. The deals follow a string of recent disposals by the Monaco-based company, which earlier this month agreed to offload two more MRs — STI Seneca and STI Osceola — at the same price, alongside the LR2 STI Solidarity. These disposals are expected to generate roughly $110m in additional liquidity. The Emanuele Lauro-led owner counts around 90 vessels and has been actively recycling tonnage while keeping an eye on earnings and asset values in the product tanker segment. In tandem with this, Scorpio continues to invest in newer ships.
