Norwegian offshore vessel owner Eidesvik Offshore has secured a one-year extension for its platform supply vessel Viking Lady with Aker BP, keeping the ship on contract until February 2027. The extension follows directly after the current deal expires in early 2026. The original three-year charter was awarded in 2021 and began in January 2022, with Aker BP holding further options for renewal. In a separate move, Aker BP has also extended the firm period for Eidesvik’s PSV Viking Prince by around three months, now running through to the end of February 2026. “We are very pleased to continue our strong collaboration with Aker BP,” said Helga Cotgrove, CEO of Eidesvik Offshore.
