Japan secures alternative crude to replace Middle East supply, Takaichi says in Freight News 11/06/2026 Japan has obtained sufficient alternative crude oil supplies to compensate for the loss of Middle Eastern oil for July, Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi said Thursday. The country has also arranged adequate replacement crude supplies to cover the period through the end of March 2028, Takaichi stated.
