On the tanker side in particular, negotiations involving eco-modern units continue to develop, with buyers showing willingness to pursue quality vessels despite the firm Owners’ expectations. Dry Cargo On the Capesize segment, the KERKIS (ABT 176K DWT, 2007, NAMURA) was sold for a price in the region of USD 25.25m. The Kamsarmax VULCANIA (ABT 82K DWT, 2015, JIANGSU NEW YZJ) achieved low USD 26m with index TC attached at 105% until June 2027. Lastly the 2 x Handysize INTERLINK SOLIDITY & INTERLINK CELERITY (ABT 40K DWT, 2017, TAIZHOU KOUAN) were reported sold for USD 22m each to German interests. Tanker Although several negotiations, especially on eco-modern vessels, are understood to be ongoing, there are no new tanker sales that can be reported this week.
