CHINA: Solid waste importation regulation changes Publications Steamship Mutual Published: June 12, 2018 Contact author Download article pdf Image Club correspondents Huatai have issued a Circular outlining details of changes to solid waste importation regulations. 16 types of solid waste, including scrap metal, scrap ship, compressed pieces of scrap automobiles, smelt slag and industrial waste plastic etc. are added to the import ban list, with effect from 31 December 2018. In addition,16 types of solid waste, including stainless steel waste & scrap, titanium waste and scrap, wood waste and scrap are added to import ban list, with effect from 31 December 2019.
