Barker inbound to Muskegon, Michigan that took place on the evening of April 28, 2022. The ship was in the channel, when it grounded just outside the breakwater from the port, with a load of stones from Port Inland, Michigan. It is not clear if sand had shifted over the winter and why the channel depth was not certified prior to the ship arrival.
