Philippines - Restricted Nationals -Vessel may be refused entry into ports in Mindanao 8 September 2017 No.918 Download PDF (597KB) We have obtained the following information on the captioned topic from a correspondent in the Philippines, Pandiman Philippines Inc.:   Armed conflict between Philippine government forces and alleged Islamic terrorist group is continuing in Mindanao, which has given an influence on international shipping industry. The Philippine Bureau of Immigration has designated lists of restricted nationals, which shows those nationals who require specific papers for entering the Philippines. Members are requested to pay special attention to the current status there that international vessels with crew members of nationalities on the designated lists may not be allowed to proceed to Mindanao ports. Members are also recommended to contact their agents if they have concerns when calling the Philippines ports including those in Mindanao.   Members are kindly requested to refer to the lists of the nationalities falling into the designated categories.   Restricted Nationals   For more details, please refer to the attached report.
