Search for ships currently entered in the London P&I Club by their name or I M O number Search Search for correspondents in our global network by country/area or port/city Search Chinese Pollution Regulations - List of MSA Approved Agents 28 March 2012 Members may be aware that there are various companies that offer the service of agent for the purposes of contracting with SPRO's (Members will note from the News Alert containing the Chinese Pollution Regulations FAQs the circumstances in which they can use an agent). The agent must be domiciled in mainland China and must meet certain requirements laid down in the Notice issued by the China MSA dated 22 December 2011. A list of agents that have met such requirements is published by the China MSA on the China MSA website in Chinese. For Members benefit, the International Group of P&I Clubs has prepared an unofficial translation of the full list of MSA approved Agents as at 26 March 2012 with contact details where known (see attached). Members should note that not all firms offering Agency services have MSA approval to offer services throughout China PRC. Some are only authorised to operate locally. The areas in which these agents are authorised to operate are shown on the table. There are other agents who are currently offering their services who are not approved by MSA to operate in any PRC ports. Members using the services of these firms should ensure that the actual contract is signed by the owner/operator and not by the agent.
