Chief MAKOi Seaman VLOG ep 035 Drills while Drifting Our vessel was drifting off the coast of Novorossiysk, Russia. We were expecting a very stringent Port State Control inspection upon arrival. Since we had a few days adrift, we took that time to prepare for the inspection. It also gave me the opportunity to train my engineers a little bit with regards to Main Engine emergency operation. As always, the best way to learn is to do it yourself so I always take the hands-on approach.
