News 04 Jun, 2009 US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Vessel General Permit (VGP) Requirements Members are reminded that in order to be able to continue to discharge waste streams from vessels into US waters, they must apply for a Notice of Intent (NOI) in the period between 19 June 2009 and 19 September 2009. Details of the application process and a copy of the NOI application form can be found at here . Members may wish to know however that the EPA plans to introduce a facility on its website later this month which will allow shipowners to submit their NOIs electronically (eNOI).
