ADVISORIES ARE AVAILABLE AT http://www.pancanal.com FOR ETAS OR DIRECT COMMUNICATION WITH OUR OFFICES, REFER TO NOTICE N-3-2020 Panama Canal Authority Vice Presidency for Operations Advisory to Shipping No. A-35-2021 August 26, 2021 TO : All Shipping Agents, Owners, and Operators SUBJECT: Miraflores Locks Center Wall Culvert Outage and the Transit Reservation System Beginning at 0700 hours on Tuesday, August 31, 2021, until 1600 hours on Saturday, September 11, 2021 (12 days), the center wall culvert of Miraflores Locks will be out of service for scheduled maintenance. Although the culvert maintenance will increase the time required to fill and empty the chamber in both lanes at Miraflores locks, this should not have a significant effect in the capacity of the Panamax locks so as to warrant a booking condition change. Since the culvert outage is at Miraflores Locks, Neopanamax vessels should not be affected as a result of this maintenance. ORIGINAL SIGNED Ilya R.
