In order to draw attention to this, BIMCO, the International Chamber of Shipping (ICS), INTERCARGO, INTERTANKO and OCIMF have jointly issued an alert, Increased Security Threats for vessels operating in the Gulf of Guinea, which will be of interest to Members trading in this region.
