Norwegian offshore vessel owner Solstad Offshore has lined up a contract for its 2010-built construction support vessel Normand Tonjer via a letter of intent with an undisclosed client. According to the Oslo-listed firm, the contract is set to start in February and will run for 225 days, including mobilisation. The client also has options to extend the deal. The vessel will be deployed in the Asia-Pacific region. The commercial terms and conditions are confidential between the parties. Solstad last week also inked a letter of intent with an international subsea contractor for the construction support vessel Normand Navigator.
