The Interim Guidance is for ships originating from, or entering ports in, the United States to help prevent, detect, report, and medically manage suspected or confirmed COVID-19 cases. The updates include: • specific guidance for ships when one or more suspected or confirmed cases of COVID-19 are identified; • clarified disembarkation recommendations for ships after one or more suspected or confirmed cases of COVID-19 are identified; and • supplemental guidance on cleaning and disinfection.
