LNG bunker vessel completes its first bunkering at China’s Mawan port in Port News 21/04/2026 A container ship operated by Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) was bunkered with around 2,300 mt of LNG at Mawan Port in Shenzhen, China. The fuel was delivered to the dual-fuel vessel MSC Sabrina by the LNG bunker vessel Haiyang Shiyou 301, Shenzhen Municipal Government said. The 30,000-cbm LNG bunker vessel is operated by CNOOC (Shenzhen) International Marine Clean Energy, a subsidiary of China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC). The operation marked the vessel’s first bunkering in western Shenzhen’s port area. Haiyang Shiyou 301 has previously carried out LNG deliveries and ship-to-ship bunkering operations at Yantian Port, Dapeng Bay anchorage, Guangzhou and Zhuhai. It was also deployed for a ship-to-ship bunkering operation in Hong Kong last month.
