Federal Reserve chair Warsh reportedly brings in two conservative advisers in World Economy News 04/06/2026 Federal Reserve Chairman Kevin Warsh has reportedly brought in two outside associates to advise him as he takes on his new role, including one who previously authored a conservative policy document calling for major changes to the central bank’s structure. Paul Winfree, who served as a White House domestic policy specialist during the first Trump administration, is one of the advisers, The Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday citing people familiar with the matter. Winfree wrote the Federal Reserve chapter in Project 2025, a conservative policy blueprint created before the 2024 election. The second adviser is Daniel Heil, a policy fellow at Stanford’s Hoover Institution who worked as an economic policy adviser for Jeb Bush’s 2016 presidential campaign. His recent work has examined ways to reduce federal healthcare spending costs and addressed Social Security policy, the report said. Both advisers have built their careers in conservative policy circles. Their professional backgrounds focus on areas that fall outside the Federal Reserve’s main duties of monetary policy and bank regulation. Both advisers would serve as temporary contractors to help Warsh with policy analysis and planning. The chairman has not made final decisions about creating more permanent positions for them at the central bank, the report said. Source: Investing.com 2026-06-04 hellenicshippingnews... tweet Share
