Image Credit: Robert Love / LinkedIn Singapore -based marine fuel trading firm Uni-Fuels has appointed a general manager in the US to expand its presence in the country. Robert Love has joined the firm as a general manager in Houston as of this month, he said in his LinkedIn profile update on Thursday . Love has more than 15 years of experience in marine fuel procurement, supply and logistics. He previously served as senior managing partner at UET Marine , and before that held the same position at Gulf Coast Fuel Supply and many more companies. Earlier in his career, Love spent almost 11 years as global fuel manager at American Eagle Tankers , overseeing fuel procurement for a fleet of more than 140 tankers and VLCCs. He has also served as vice president of marine logistics at Tradewinds Marine since December 2024. "I’m pleased to share that I have accepted a General Manager role with Singapore-based Uni-Fuels, where I will help expand the company’s presence in the United States," he said in his LinkedIn update. Uni-Fuels posted a 58% year-on-year increase in marine fuels trading volumes in Q1 2026 .
