UK Supreme Court Judgment in the “GLOBAL SANTOSH” [2016] UKSC 20 22 June 2016 No.823 Download PDF (299KB) In the “GLOBAL SANTOSH” case, the parties have disputed in the English courts whether the vessel was off-hire during the period of the arrest by the sub-charterers. The Supreme Court held that the period of the arrest by sub-charterers was off-hire, since the arrest was occasioned by a dispute between sub charterers (sellers) and buyers, and the sub charterers were not considered as the agent of the time charterers. Attached please find the comments on the judgment received from Ms. Joanne Waters of Ince & Co.(London Office), who is currently seconded to the Association. 8606.pdf (151KB) Case Study Court Decision Japan P&I News ロスプリベンション Japan P&I News ナイロビ条約 日本 組合員限定 --> Most read News “GLOBAL SANTOSH”号英国最高裁判決 [2016]UKSC 20 "THE ACHILLEAS" Transfield Shipping Inc v Mercator Shipping Inc Fender Damage Claims in Alexandria and Dekheila Ports
