John Fredriksen-backed Flex LNG has seen an extension called on one of its LNG carriers, fixing it into the first quarter of 2032. The charterer, earlier revealed as Cheniere Marketing International, a subsidiary of US LNG player Cheniere Energy, has extended the contract for the 2018-built Flex Endeavour, adding 500 days to the vessel’s existing charter. The Oslo- and New York-listed Flex said the vessel has an additional one-year option attached to the deal signed in November 2022 as part of a three-ship extension package.
