Sustainable energy solutions provider All Energies Services Group (AES Group) has bought crew transfer vessel (CTV) owner CWind from private equity firm Inspirit Capital. This acquisition will expand AES Group’s footprint in the renewable energy sector. Founded in 2010, CWind is known for support to the offshore wind industry, including crew transfer vessels, asset management, and turnkey engineering services. According to the group, the integration of CWind into its portfolio will enhance capabilities in offshore wind operations and enable the delivery of high-quality energy services. It is worth noting that CWind has been under the Inspirit Capital banner for a very short time. Namely, the private equity firm bought it from Global Marine Group in October 2023. It was bought by Global Marine Group in 2017. CWind lists 12 owned and operated CTVs in its fleet and the world’s first hybrid surface effect ship, CWind Pioneer. googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1_95_0_1_2'); }); TagsOffshore Wind United Kingdom
