Ocean Network Express (ONE) has reportedly placed an order with HD Hyundai Heavy Industries for six LNG-fuelled containerships with a capacity of 15,000 TEU each. According to multiple reports, the vessels are expected to be priced at approximately USD 203 million per ship. The order reflects continued investment in dual-fuel and lower-emission vessel technologies as carriers accelerate fleet renewal and decarbonisation strategies. The newbuildings are expected to strengthen ONE’s long-haul fleet capacity while improving fuel efficiency and environmental performance.
