GEODIS has launched an electric vehicle (EV) delivery solution in Ho Chi Minh City, expanding its low-carbon logistics operations in Vietnam. The initiative supports the company’s decarbonisation strategy and Vietnam’s transition towards lower-emission transport. GEODIS will use the VinFast EC Van 2026 for last-mile B2B and B2C deliveries serving customers in the luxury and retail sectors. According to the company, GEODIS is among the first logistics providers to introduce electric urban delivery vehicles in Vietnam. The VinFast EC Van 2026 is designed for urban distribution, combining compact dimensions with cargo capacity to improve delivery efficiency in city environments. The vehicle also produces zero tailpipe emissions and reduces noise compared with conventional vans. GEODIS said it is working with vehicle manufacturers and infrastructure partners in Vietnam to support EV deployment, improve operational reliability and prepare for future fleet expansion. The company added that it will continue evaluating opportunities to increase the number of electric vehicles in Vietnam and introduce additional lower-carbon logistics solutions. Across the Asia Pacific and Middle East region, GEODIS is expanding the use of lower-emission transport, including electric and biodiesel-powered vehicles, where operationally feasible.
