Oslo-listed seismic data specialist TGS has won a large 3D streamer contract in the Southern Atlantic. The company said in an Oslo Bors filing that the acquisition is scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of this year and that the contract has a duration of approximately 140 days. According to TGS, the comprehensive seismic survey is designed for enhanced subsurface imaging in a challenging geological environment. The Norwegian firm won two other 3D streamer deals in the past month. The first was its first 3D streamer contract for the 2025 Northwest Europe summer season. The acquisition is scheduled to begin in May and last approximately 35 days. The second was for ONGC in the Mahanadi basin on the East Coast of India. The Ramform Sovereign will mobilise for the survey in January 2025 and the contract will last approximately six months. googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1_95_0_1_2'); }); TagsNorway
