The Chugoku Electric Power Co.,Inc. and Toda Corp. join Masuda-Hikimi Wind Power Project in International Shipping News 17/04/2026 The Chugoku Electric Power Co.,Inc. and TODA CORPORATION today announced that they have acquired shares in Asia Wind power Co., Ltd. (Note1) (Representative Director: Takashi Kashimura; Headquarters: Masuda City, Shimane Prefecture). With this acquisition, The Chugoku Electric Power Co.,Inc. and TODA join Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. and Hokutaku Co., Ltd. as investors in the Masuda-Hikimi Wind Power Project. Asia Wind power is constructing 13 wind turbines, each with an output of 4,200 kW, in Hikimi-cho, Masuda City, Shimane Prefecture, and developing, operating, and will maintain the facility as an onshore wind farm with a total generating capacity of 54,000 kW. The construction of the power plant will begin, with operations scheduled to start in January 2030.
