Image Credit: UKMTO A cargo vessel was hit by an unknown projectile off the coast of Yemen on Tuesday , with casualties reported, according to a British government agency monitoring maritime security in the region. The incident was reported off the coast of Al Mokha yesterday, the UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) said in a social media post. “It has been reported that a cargo vessel in the Southern Red Sea has been hit by an unknown projectile resulting in casualties,” UKMTO said. Four crew members were killed in the attack by Yemen’s Houthi movement, Reuters reported. Several Saudi ships transiting the Red Sea have come under attack after the Houthi imposed a maritime blockade on Saudi Arabia on July 22 .
