Istanbul Strait South Anchorage Areas Please note that the purpose of use for the A, B, C, F and G anchorage areas are as follows: • Anchorage area A: for vessels to be berthed at shore facilities. • Anchorage area B: for vessels that have departed shore facilities and to remain at anchorage. • Anchorage area C: for vessels carrying dangerous goods, nuclear power-driven war ships and vessels engaged in gas free operations.
