Offshore energy services contractor Next Geosolutions (NextGeo) has signed an eight-year framework agreement with German transmission system operator 50Hertz. Under this agreement, NextGeo will serve as the primary provider of geotechnical seabed survey services, supporting the development of offshore substations. These substations are crucial for integrating new offshore wind farms in the North Sea and Baltic Sea, as well as for strengthening the European electricity grid.
