Ince Shipping, a Turkish owner specialising in supramaxes, is tied to its first purchase of the year. The owner has been widely reported to be looking for modern ships. Last month, the active owner was tied to purchasing a 2017-built Japanese-built ultramax, a ship they reportedly fixed and failed. Now the owner is tied to the purchase of a same-aged ultramax, the Imbari-built Florentine Oetker, tabling just under $ 33m for this vessel, its most modern ship to date. The ship is noted as owned by AO Schifffahrt. Data from VesselsValue notes that the Ince fleet list counts 10 bulkers averaging 13 years of age. The company was founded as a family-owned and managed business in Istanbul in 1967. googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1_95_0_1_2'); }); TagsTurkey
