Work site: waters in the east of coastal area of Xiangshan, Ningbo in the East China Sea Area, bounded by the following 6 points in order (2000 National Geodetic Coordinate System): 29°31′06.0″N / 122°15′18.0″E; 29°27′12.0″N / 122°37′30.0″E; 28°46′36.0″N / 123°30′12.0″E; 28°45′54.0″N / 123°29′30.0″E; 29°26′12.0″N / 122°37′06.0″E; 29°30′00.0″N / 122°15′00.0″E. Safe Operation Zone: circular waters in the work site, centered by the research vessel, “Chen Xi 5”, with a radius of 0.5nm. Work mode: the research vessel, “Chen Xi 5” will tow equipment including side sonar probe in the length of 100 meters at stern in the work site to carry out investigation operation on submarine pipeline route. The tugboat, “Kan Tan 226” will carry out auxiliary operation including the security works. Cautions: The workboat should implement each safety and anti-pollution measure, display regulated lights and shapes in obvious places day and night, strengthen duty and lookout and keep watch on VHF16, coordinate the avoidance timely when crossing traffic-intensive area and fishing area of the channel and take safety measures if necessary. The workboat should listen to weather forecast and relevant forewarning information timely. In case of bad weather such as strong convection and typhoon, the operations should be suspended and the workboat and personnel should evacuate timely.
